My name is Mondo Rosales, since the early 80's I've adopted another name "Nitewolf Studios" - graphic designer / illustrator. During my career, many "different" types of projects came my way and some I never really talked about. Working for various clients in the states and abroad. Much of my work has been published in many formats. A few of my more "interesting" set of illustrations were even published in Europe in a magazine called ( Marquis Magazine no31 / 2nd quarter 2004 ).

You can say it was a different time for me. My passion however was working in the comic industry, so you could say I took the bull by the horns. Friend who I knew in the industry and just various places, I looked for copies of penciled pages and or pin ups. Anything that was done professionally I got my hands on and practiced inking.

During the late 90's I got to know quite a few people in the industry and they gave me tips on how to improve myself, especially the late great Neal Adams. At a convention I asked him to review my work and he responded " no you don't" I told him I wouldn't be there if I didn't, he looked over to my then girlfriend told her to cover her ears and he let me have it. Yes it was bad, but then he told me "if you really want to get better this is how you do it." It's funny the guy behind me though I was crazy for me to thank Mr. Adams, but it was obvious he didn't listen to how to get better, he just focused on the chewing out I got. Yes, at one point I did get invited to work at "Marvel", at a SDCC, Paul Smith looked over my work and told me to go and talk to one of his associates. However things didn't go as planned, I continued to practice and I started to work for some underground companies. London Knight Studios and Brainstorm Comics. I did a few titles with them and one day I was told I'll be working on a mini series called "Feel the Pain" #4 featuring "The Crow" and a female character called "Razor", it was my only claim to fame, although the publisher may disagree with me, but I have to comic to prove it.

It was a great project, later I found out the penciler didn't care for the way any of us inked his pencils. I though I did a hell of a job on his book, but oh well. After that I became associated with Danzig - his publication { Verotik }, again at SDCC we were waiting for the arrival of Frank Frazetta. They worked a lot together, I was interested to find out what Mr. Frazetta would say about one of my inkings. It was one of his sketches called "Werewolf"

A drawing of two animals fighting each other.

He liked what I did although he did mention that he never though of it being inked. Much later I turned to graphics where achieved a AS degree. since then I have had fun creating for others, designing Billboards, calendars, company icons / logo's, worked on a magazine and other kinds of promotional materials. With my ability to draw its a benefit to my work and it helps me adapt to various types of ideas. I've have this belief "If I haven't done it, doesn't mean I can't get it done and correctly", I do my best to try new things to better my work. With all the clients and companies I've worked for my life has been nothing less than a wondrous adventure and I would like share my works with you. Back in 2001 is where I first started Nitewolf Studios, In 2007 I started to design shirts for myself and created Chaos Streetwear & Viva La Raza Apparel this opened yet again a new world of creating, this time it was for the whole world. For your next project contact me and let's see what unfolds. So I end this with my quote "Nite gives Birth to Imagination"
